Our investigative, creative, and sparky Year 2 pupils have bid farewell to King's Ely Acremont Pre-Prep! 

The vast majority of Mr Dean's and Mrs Wheatley's classes are moving up to Year 3 at King's Ely Prep in September, which means lots of exciting new opportunities and experiences to look forward to after the summer holidays.

However, as prepared as the children might be for the adventures of their next chapter, there has also been a palpable sense of sadness, as Year 2s climbed aboard the carriage, laughed along the trim trail, and raced from one end of the garden to the other for the final time (well, not for those who have younger siblings at Acremont).

Mrs Faye Fenton-Stone, Head of Acremont Pre-Prep, said: "The end of the Summer Term comes with a range of mixed feelings, from the excitement of performing, the anticipation of running in Sports Day, and feeling curious about Move Up Morning. And then, often, there is a tinge of sentiment and sadness as we say goodbye to leavers and those moving up from section to section of the school. As we close the doors on another year of learning and fun, I hope you will also have many happy memories from the year to draw on. We talked about some of these in Cathedral during the End of Year Service. 

"We all wish our Year 2 children much happiness and many exciting new adventures as they move up to Prep and further afield. They leave behind them quite a legacy. I know them for their camaraderie and kindness. They have lived our values exceptionally well this year."

Our Year 2 leavers this year are, in no particular order: Martin, Mason, Katherine, Arslan, Arabella, Remy, Marco, Arlo, Saoirse, Phineas, Marigold, Georgiana, Aleix, Leo, Dora, Olivia, Louie, Edward, Felix, Emilia, Bodhi, Theodore, Louis, Harley, Rosie, Constance, Elizabeth, and Miron. 

We also have two Reception leavers this year: Lucas and Freddie.
