“King’s was instrumental in Max’s subsequent success; 8 GCSEs, acceptance to Hartpury College, Gloucester, a BTEC qualification, and then offered a place at Leeds Beckett University on a Sports Business Marketing Degree course, for which he achieved a 2:1 BA (Hons).

“With hard work and dedicated teachers who took the time to listen to him and understand his way of working, Max went from a struggling primary school pupil to gaining a degree, with grateful thanks to all at King’s. And we mean this for the whole structure of the school – those too who are in the background; tending the gardens, maintaining the beautiful buildings, the catering staff, etc.

“One thing we actually looked forward to was parents' evening; the staff were always welcoming and had constructive comments and advice, and even if there was more to discuss they made themselves available to continue at a mutual time.

“Whilst putting Max through private education was an additional cost we had not pre-budgeted for, we felt it was certainly a worthwhile investment, which clearly shows in Max’s progress. As parents, we would certainly recommend King’s for a child’s education, in a happy and wholesome environment.”
