King's Ely through to Finals of Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2024

We are thrilled to announce that we are a Finalist in this year's Independent Schools of the Year Awards!

In July, we reported that King's Ely Acremont Pre-Prep had been shortlisted for 'Independent Pre-Prep School of the Year', and that King's Ely had been shortlisted as a whole school for 'Independent Schools of the Year for Sporting Achievement'.

Today (September 9th), organisers of the awards announced that we have made the finals of the 'Sporting Achievement' category. The winner will be announced in early October!

Dr Helen Wright, Chair of the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2024, said: "The Independent Schools of the Year Awards are designed to give independent schools an opportunity to celebrate and showcase their extraordinary achievements, and 2024 has been no exception. The innovative and life-affirming student experience which independent schools provide is awe-inspiring, and the stories told in the entries are both moving and humbling. 

"It has been truly wonderful to receive so many nominations, which clearly celebrate ‘excellence in education’ and showcase the myriad of activities in which our students have the opportunity to excel. The standard of entries has never been higher, so well done on the success of your school, and congratulations on the great work that you do."

This news comes just months after we were recognised in the Muddy Stilettos 'Best Schools Awards'.
